ACLA and Hyder continue their success on the Greening Master Plans in Hong Kong

ACLA and Hyder have been appointed by the Hong Kong Government to carry out two new greening master plans (GMP) for Hong Kong. These new commissions follow on from the Greening Master Plan currently being completed for Hong Kong and Kowloon’s main urban areas. ACLA will act as Landscape Architects and Planners whilst Hyder will take on the Project Management and Engineering role for both projects.

The Hong Kong Government continues their efforts towards Hong Kong’s landscape and environment improvements and expanded their commitment towards the urban districts of the New Territories. The Government has identified four key districts and initial two GMPs were tendered recently and both projects were won by the ACLA-Hyder joint venture. These new two GMPs cover four major districts including Shatin, Saikung, Tuen Mun and Yuen Long.

The recent appointment is a clear reflection of our unique expertise and trust gained through our contribution on previous GMPs and our long standing experience of successfully delivering complex high quality landscape projects in one of the most densely populated city’s in the world.
