ACLA wins the 2010 HKILA Merit Award

We are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Award Merit from the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects for Greening Master Plan for Remaining Urban Area, Design and Construction under the category Landscape Planning / Research Study.

The project itself is the single largest landscape and urban improvement project ever awarded by the Hong Kong Government with 11,310 hectares of urban areas and country parks.  This master plan will realise the aspirations of Hong Kong people for improved quality of life and their environment.  The scope of services includes extensive data collection, opportunity mapping, strategic advice and design direction.  We produced full construction documentation and managed the implementation of the proposals.  Approximately 10,000 trees will be planted by the end of the project in 3 years time.

The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects is the governing body of landscape architects in Hong Kong.
